125% Status

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) calculates the ratio of students placed in self-contained settings to the number of students placed in less restrictive settings (resource room or mainstream settings) for each district and charter school. A list of those districts/charters that maintain for two or more successive years a ratio that is 25 percent higher than the statewide average is published on an annual basis on the TEA web page at http://www.tea.state.tx.us/special.ed/125/.
