Anita Fincher

Anita has worked in the area of nutrition for twenty-six
years with eight years in hospital dietetics, seven years in public
health nutriiton and six years as a compliance monitor for the Child
Nutrition Program with the Texas Education Agency prior to coming
to ESC 12.
She currently provides technical assistance to school
districts promoting effective program management and increased participation
in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and the School Breakfast
Program (SBP). She assists districts with all state and federal
child nutrition program regulations and the implementation of the
Dietary Guidelines in the NSLP and SBP.
She coordinates reviews, training and workshops in
program management supporting the Coordinated Review Effort and
participation in state-wide CNP projects.
