Mrs. Downes’ experience in public education includes thirteen years of classroom instruction, high school assistant principal, elementary principal, and assistant superintendent for two 4-A districts. She has also worked in higher education at the community college level as Director of Recruiting. Mrs. Downes is excited to join the team of knowledgeable, experienced, and professional staff that serve the districts in Region 12 and she looks forward to developing positive and helpful relationships with the dedicated educators in this region.
