Cathey George Director, ESC Region 12 E-Rate Consulting Services B. A. in Education, University of Texas at El Paso M. Ed., Texas A&M University

Ms. George has over 35 years in education as a teacher and administrator in public and private education. She has taught Kindergarten in private education as well as faculty development and management courses at Texas State Technical College and McLennan Community College. She has also served as the Director of Technology at a K-12 public school for 10 years. She has also been the Texas E-Rate Coordinator since 2004. Recently she will be sharing some of the Texas E-Rate duties with a member of the Texas Education Agency's staff as Texas E-Rate Co-Coordinator.

In addition to her Co-Coordinator duties with TEA, she also directs the Education Service Center (ESC) Region 12 E-Rate Consulting Services. The ESC Region 12 E-Rate Consulting Services has been in existance for 4 years in which many schools and districts in Texas have been supported in their efforts to effectively request and receive the maximum E-Rate discounts for which they are eligible.
