Ms. Simpson has been involved in education for 26 years, 16 as an administrator. In addition to teaching theatre arts, speech, business education, and English, she has served as Elementary Assistant Principal, Intermediate School Principal, High School Principal, Curriculum Director, Assistant Superintendent, and Superintendent. She has also served on the Board of Texas Association of Mid-Size Schools.
Ms. Simpson serves as a Field Service Agent providing assistance to superintendents and serving as a liaison between superintendents and ESC Region 12. She also assists districts by providing training for school board members. In addition, she serves as Deputy Director for Academic and Administrative Services including General Education Services, Special Education Services and Virtual Learning and Instructional Technology Services.
