Dr. Maze is in his 24th year in education. His career includes work as a classroom teacher, administrator, public relations consultant, and superintendent. He taught English and journalism in the Livingston Independent School District, where he later served as high school assistant principal, associate principal for curriculum and instruction, high school principal, and then central office director.
Dr. Maze served as superintendent of Hubbard ISD and Hillsboro ISD before coming to the ESC Region 12 in April, 2008.
