Maze became executive director in May of 2011. His vision for the Center is to provide and continue to develop innovative, responsive and relevant solutions for the needs of school personnel and students.

Experience
Maze has served in education for more than 25 years in several districts in various capacities including teacher, director, consultant, high school principal and superintendent.

While serving as superintendent at Hubbard and then in Hillsboro, Maze emphasized student achievement and focused on financial efficiency. In Hubbard, he led the district through the construction and opening of a new middle school. In addition, he established a district/community scholarship foundation.

Prior to his current role, he served for three years as associate executive director for administrative leadership and business services at ESC Region 12. In this position, he managed many areas including school finance, administrative leadership and regional satellite offices. He also created and continues to teach a Superintendents’ Leadership Academy.
