Mrs. Scott is the education specialist for Service
Learning, WebCcat (Web-Accessed Comprehensive Curriculum Assessment
Tool), and Environmental Education. She has 14 years in education.
Ms. Scott’s experience includes 5 years as a classroom teacher
of World Geography, 1 year as classroom teacher of Career Education
for the Mississippi Band of Choctaws, 3 years as Workshop Coordinator
for the Region 13 Education Service Center, 2 years as Peer Mediation
Specialist for Georgetown ISD Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative
providing teachers with opportunities for professional development
and classroom implementation of peer mediation and teen leadership
programs, and 5 years at ESC12 providing professional development
for,and working with, teachers and districts to implement service
learning activities. She is a member of the National Service Learning
Partnership, and currently serves as a Regional Representative for
the Texas Association for Environmental Education.
