1974 – Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Therapy - Howard Payne University
1990 – Master’s of Educational Administration – The University of North Texas
1998 – Advanced Doctoral Credits – Baylor University

Mr. Edwards served twelve years as a public school speech therapist, Comanche Special Services Coop, and Lampasas ISD. He also served three years as the Coordinator of At-Risk Programs, Copperas Cove ISD along with eight years as an assistant principal then principal for Lampasas ISD. He also served three years as a Director of Special Education, Lampasas ISD.
