Mary Ann Marak Education Specialist, Administrative Leadership Services M.S. Guidance and Counseling, Baylor University

Mary Ann Marak is the education specialist for school counselors in Region 12. She plans and facilitates workshops on topics of interest to the school counselors, keeps them informed of new legislation and mandates, and assists counselors with questions and problems they encounter at their school campuses.

The Counselor's Council is a co-op for school counselors that provides workshops and services for the counselor. Members may attend all the Counselor's Council workshops free. Call Mary Ann Marak at (254) 297-1124 or email at mamarak@esc12.net for more information.

Mrs. Marak has been a business education teacher, school counselor, and curriculum coordinator. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor (LPC and Supervisor certification for counselors).
