Dr. Scott has been involved in education for 29 years. He served as Director of the Department of Education for the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and the Bureau of Indian Affairs for three years. He served the Texas Education Agency as a Title 1 program officer and as a research associate for seven years. For twelve years he served as the director of the Education Service Center Support Unit of TEA. In 1998 he became the Deputy Director for Administrative Services for ESC 12.
