Stefanie Abbasi Supervisor, School Support &Grant Services, Child Nutrition Master of Science, University of Central Texas B. S. Dietetics, A & M - Kingsville

Stefanie has worked in the area of nutrition for twenty-six years. Most of her experience has been in school food service where she worked for the Dallas Independent School District.

She currently provides technical assistance to school districts promoting effective program management and increased participation in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and the School Breakfast Program (SBP). She assists districts with all state and federal child nutrition program regulations and the implementation of the Dietary Guidelines in the NSLP and SBP.

She coordinates reviews, training and workshops in program management supporting the Coordinated Review Effort and participation in state-wide CNP projects.

Stefanie is a certified trainer for the Texas Department of Health Food Protection Management Program.
