Ms. Fredriksson has 24 years of experience in education. She taught both general and special education, started a content mastery program in a local district, and was a co-teacher for 8 years in the area of Biology and IPC. She served as department chair for special education at the secondary level. She also was a campus administrator for a central Texas high school and member of district and campus site based decision making team. Immediately previous to the position at ESC 12, Ms. Fredriksson was special education director for a shared services arrangement. Prior to public school experience, she was a department director for community services for the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation and a member of a Comprehensive Diagnosis and Evaluation team.
