Dr. Norris is the Executive Director of ESC Region
12. He has 31 years of experience in education. During his career,
he has held
positions as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, Director
of Secondary Curriculum and Instruction, assistant superintendent,
interim superintendent and superintendent. He holds Texas certificates
as a teacher, in mid-management and as a superintendent. Dr.
Norris was named Administrator of the Year by the Texas Journalism
Teachers
Association for the 1997-98 school year.
