Mr. Brewton served as teacher / coach in the Waco Independent School District for 10 years before serving as Assistant Principal and Principal for an additional 12 years. Mr. Brewton then moved to Lorena ISD serving a High School Principal and Superintendent for 12 years.

Mr. Brewton has been at Region 12 ESC for 4 and one-half years serving as Field Service Agent working with districts, charter schools, and school finance.
